Book Review
A very sweet short story book with an important message contained. This is an absolutely fantastic story for children of all ages to help teach them that they don't have to give gifts to be special to someone. I believe it also has the hidden moral to be careful who you trust!! The story is rhyming and I had loads of fun reading it myself as a 36 year old and then my 10 year old son also enjoyed reading it. I also read it to my 5 year old twins who absolutely loved the bright and fun illustrations which were very attractive to the eye. The story was quite sweet but sad but with a lovely ending!! My heart went out to the poor bowerbird and I was so pleased by the lovely ending. I loved reading all the lists out of what he had collected and really did have lots of fun reading this book alone and to the kids!! A lovely children's book and I am looking forward to reading more children's books by this author myself and to the children!!!
