BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Review for 'The Autistic Side Of Love' by Samuel Turner.
Read and reviewed for Samuel Turner.
Publication date 3rd October 2021.
I was originally drawn to this book after meeting the author at the monthly market in Kidwelly. We had a nice chat and I decided I wanted to purchase his book as it intrigued me. Samuel is an extremely polite young man and it was a pleasure talking to him.
This novella consists of 3 chapters. The chapters are short in length so possible to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!
This book is written in third person perspective with the main protagonist being Markus Evans. The benefits of third person perspective with multiple protagonists are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything.
This book is based upon the authors love and struggles during the covid-19 pandemic and on real life awareness. This is a lovely short story of the struggles Markus has along with Prissy during the isolation of covid and confusion with their feelings caused due to this. It really is an emotional story which helps others to see the struggles that someone who has autism may have with in regards to their emotions and challenges that they face daily along with during change and the unexpected. Amazon rates this book suitable for children 10-18 years old. However Samuel states at the beginning of the book that some of the pictures maybe found upsetting for young children. Personally I think that it is suitable for children 8/9 to adults 99+. The illustrations are a nice touch and help to show how Markus and Prissy are feeling in a way that words may not always show. I am hoping to join Samuel at the Gwenllian Hall on the 30th and it would be lovely to see more books written by him.
For those that are local to Kidwelly Samuel is doing a book signing to celebrate the first anniversary of his book. Details are as follows:

About The Author
Originally from East Ham, London, I was born with autistic spectrum disorder and my lifetime was slightly an advanced challenge for my lifetime soon before studying at a Essex specialist academic school Treetops in Thurrock from 2006 to 2016. Ever since leaving school, I've been focusing hard on my great film editing skills.
Towards the end of 2019, my parents and myself moved from Essex to Carmarthenshire in Wales for my parents retiring life before I was later crowned the ITV Fundraising Winner of Wales in October 2020 after raising £2,000 GBP for helping brain injured children in the UK. After being crowned, I also since making an inspiring stories including a video about basics about the Covid Vaccination for anyone living with autism in and around the UK in 2021. I even wrote my first new storybook "The Autistic Side of Love" which has been rated 5 stars on Amazon it's also now available to buy on Amazon today.
Apart from just filmmaking, I was known for being an inspiring role model in Wales for my working efforts as I've been supporting Cerebra (2017 - 2021) and today since raising funds for a Essex specialist school Treetops which I was honoured to help as the school faced financial problems due to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic life. In 2022, I also proud as I've even got a special letter from Windsor Castle on behalf of the Queen after sending her my homemade Easter Card as I thought it would made her day despite her illness.
Being autistic makes me a proudest person of all time for the talents I've recently reached today. It makes me show the kind manners never go out of style.
