BLOG TOUR REVIEW

Review for 'Summer At Forget-Me-Not Cottage' by Helen Rolfe.

Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Helen Rolfe, Boldwood, Book & Tonic and Rachel's Random Book Tours .

Publication date 26th June 2023.

This is the first book I have read by this author. It is also the second book in 'Little Woodville Cottage Series'.

This novel consists of 20 chapters. The chapters are short to medium in length so easy to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!

What an absolutely beautiful, heart warming, stunning must read!!! Absolutely love, love, loved it!!! This book has fantastic descriptions that set you straight in the scenes. The cover, title and synopsis suit the storyline perfectly.

The storyline itself was absolutely unputdownable so make sure you clear your schedules before starting to read it!!

If you are looking for a stunning romance then this is the book for you!! Helen's evocative writing skills sucks the reader deep into the pages bringing the absolutely beautiful Little Woodville and the Cotswolds to life along with all the amazing characters. Although this is the second book in the series I had would have had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

While reading this book you will be swept away and left feeling the fresh air, hearing the chatter at the market and smelling the home cooked meals. It is a stunning escapism read and it genuinely felt like I was dropped into the middle of this beautiful village that I absolutely loved exploring with some of my favourite places being the market and the Bookshop Café (of course!!). I was absolutely devastated when I came to the end and had to pack my mental suitcase to return to rainy Wales. I cannot wait to delve into the first book in this series which is called 'Christmas At Snowdrop Village' and I hope that this book is only the second of many more to come in this absolutely gorgeous series!!! It is ram packed with emotions from tears of sadness to tears of happiness, friendship, love, community, new beginnings, family and everything you could ask for in a beautiful page turner!!! This book is an absolutely stunning read that is perfect to lift your spirits!! I felt like I was next to Nate and Morgan throughout the book from their first meeting to the absolutely beautiful ending.

The characters were all an eclectic mix and each one of them were realistic and strong. I was completely in them all and I already miss them even though I have just closed the pages. An absolutely amazing gang of characters who will stay with me for a long time and I really hope I get to meet again soon. I devoured this book in a few hours as it is one of those that I just could not put down. there were so many times that I told myself that I would just finish the one chapter and then go back to it but that chapter ended in a way that I could not put it down and then the next one did and then the next and so on until I came to very last page. I would absolutely love to see this beauty turned into a movie and I will be at the front of the queue to go and see it!! Helen's writing skills will absolutely absorb you into the book and no matter where you are in the world you will be sucked into Little Woodville in the blink of an eye.

What are you waiting for?!? Pick up one of my favourite, stunning, feel good page turners and get ready to get sucked in to the stunning Little Woodville!!!

A MASSIVE WELL DONE to Helen on a HUGE success!!! I loved every page of your book and I cannot wait to read more past and future amazing books. Welcome to my FAVOURITE authors and I cannot wait for your next page turner. Here's to your next success 🥂!

Make sure you read to the very end of the book to read the first chapter of Helen's ''Christmas At The Little Knitting Box' which promises to be just as gorgeous as this book and is one I'm definitely looking forward to reading myself!!

Overall an unputdownable, unforgettable, stunning romance that will put you in the festive spirit and have you staying up late at night to finish it.

I would recommend this book to the fans of the above as well as fans of Sophie Kinsella, Bridget Jones, 'The Holiday', Debbie Macomber, Emily Henry, Beth O’Leary and anyone looking for a absolutely stunning festive and heart-warming read!

281 pages.

This book is just £2.84 to purchase on kindle, free with kindle unlimited and £9.32 in paperback via Amazon which I think is an absolute bargain for this book!!!

Rated 5/5 (I LOVED it ) on Goodreads, Instagram, Amazon UK and Amazon US and on over 30 Facebook pages plus my blog on Facebook.
