'Give In To Me' by Mia Ryder

Description

'Give In To Me' is the fifth Novella in the 'Sex, Die, Repeat' series.

Nick is called back from his downtime to HQ by his stressed-out superior, Abe. It seems someone has made it to the underworld could potentially trouble for both of them – Jess, the young woman who caused Nick’s downfall in Little Deaths! Jess is less than enamoured to find herself in Hell, but then she did sell her soul to the devil … literally. Quick-minded and pragmatic, Jess deduces this might be the place for her IF she can hoodwink Nick and his colleagues all over again. It won’t be easy. Abe and Nick are still stung by Jess’ antics the last time they saw her. When Abe suggests they both get their own back on the helpless Jess in Satan’s dungeons, Nick doesn’t need much persuading. He’s been dreaming about getting even with Jess for what she put him through. Abe too needs payback. There’s one issue: any twisted ‘revenge’ the pair of demons have in mind is exactly what Jess wants … GIVE IN TO ME is an explicit tale with sexy doms and strong women. PLEASE NOTE: This story is for adults only and contains highly sexual content, depictions of BDSM, threesomes, torture, dubious consent, horror, religious iconography, as well as commentary on sexism, abuse and revenge.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW

Review for 'Give In To Me' by Mia Ryder.

Read and reviewed for ZooLoos Book Tours, Mia Ryder and SpellBound publishers.

Publication date 6th March 2022.

This is the fifth book I have read by this author. It is also the third book in Mia Ryder's 'Sex, Die, Repeat' series but can be read as a standalone. I have also read the first book in this series 'Little Deaths', second book 'Re-education', third book 'After Midnight' and fourth book 'Downtime' which I would recommend.

I was originally drawn to this book by its eye catching cover and intriguing synopsis and title. I have also enjoyed the previous four books in this series so was looking forward to what was to happen next. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Spellbound. I have yet to read a book published by Spellbound books that I haven't enjoyed. Hopefully this won't be the first... Watch this space! (Written before I started reading the book).

This is a novella so can be read in one sitting.

This book is written in third person perspective and the main protagonist is Nick. The benefits of third person perspective are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything.

'Give In To Me' discusses some topics that may trigger some readers or may not be suitable for others. I like to point this out ahead of time in my reviews so you can judge if this book is for you or not. In this book Mia discusses/includes highly sexual content, depictions of BDSM, threesomes, torture, dubious consent, horror, religious iconography, as well as commentary on sexism, abuse and revenge so would advise readers of the age of 18 and above only.

This book is the fifth book in the 'Sex, Die, Repeat' series by Mia Ryder but it can be read as a standalone. In this book we see the sex called back from his holiday by his boss Abe. We also meet Keres, another demon although not a sex one and discover how Abe himself got to Level Two with help from Morana who he used to work with before she got sent up to Level Three. When Nick arrived back to Hell to deal with the new recruits he gets a shock, along with Abe when they discover Jess (who you discover in book one 'Little Deaths'). It is Abe and Nick's job to get her to turn but they are in for a surprise. In this book Hell has Three levels. When you first enter you are put into Level One where you are tortured and killed continuously. Most never leave this level. The few who do then go onto Level Two and become demons, in Kali and Nick's case sex demons. Level Three is for The Prince Of Darkness himself along with his wife, Morana and the Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse. This story tells us how Nick meets Raquel on several occasions and tries to seduce her. It is a supernatural horror filled with sex, torture and demons. It is very well written and the storyline isn't just about sex but is actually very intriguing and sounds just like what Hell would be. The author has a fantastic and vivid imagination and this is reflected perfectly in the storyline. It is only 24 pages so can be read in less than an hour and perfect for an adults only bedtime story.

Overall a gothic sex filled horror filled with torture and pleasure that will leave you wanting more!

Genres covered in this book include Novella, Romance, Gothic, Adult Fiction and Erotica amongst others.

I would recommend this book to the fans of the above as well as fans of anyone who loves gothic horror and is always left wanting more.

24 pages.

This book is just 78p to purchase on kindle via Amazon which I think is an absolute bargain for this book!!!

Rated 4 /5 (I enjoyed it ) on Goodreads, Instagram, Amazon UK and Amazon US and on over 30 Facebook pages plus my blog on Facebook.
